Pilates is a unique method of strength training that focuses on attaining core stability while providing a full-body workout. Emphasis is placed on breath, alignment, control, and form. The balance between strength and flexibility creates a healthy, vigorous and symmetrical workout for all muscle groups resulting in a leaner, more balanced and stronger body.
Developed by Joseph Pilates in the 1920’s this exercise program whether studied as a progressive discipline, as a complement to aerobic exercises or other sports such as golf, tennis, swimming; even the physical demands of everyday living will help your body meet the many demands of an active lifestyle.
If you are new to class, please come a few minutes early to meet the instructor and find out a little about the class.
Classes are complimentary to members.
