Yoga classes at the aquatic center are taught in an eclectic approach to yoga; a blend of styles and methods. A typical class begins with breathing and relaxation exercises followed by a flowing series of asanas (postures) that range from gentle movement to challenging workout. Through Yoga workouts you will develop core strength, balance, breath techniques, flexibility, and concentration.
All levels welcome, the atmosphere in classes is casual and supportive. If you are new to class, please come a few minutes early to meet the instructor and find out a little about the class.
Bring your own yoga mat and wear layers of comfortable clothing.
Classes are complimentary to members.
Non-member drop-in rates are $5.00 per class.
