West Coast Aquatics' coaching philosophy underscores our dedication to excellence in swimming. Our professional coaching staff teaches superior swimming techniques tot beginners, in a fun-filled environment. As the swimmers grown in ability and achievement, these same techniques are maintained in a gradually increasing schedule of training. The culmination of the WEST programs is a group of swimmers who reach their performance peak as their body has matured in our nationally recognized Senior Program.

To have a successful swim program, it is important that there be complete understanding between parents, swimmers, and coaches. An important link in this triangle is the line of communication between parents and coaches. If questions, concerns, or problems arise, we readily encourage parents to contact our coaches. You can contact the coaches via e-mail or phone for a phone conference or to schedule an appointment. Our coaching staff is committed to returning calls and e-mails within 24 hours.

Please do not approach coaches on deck. Phone conferences or meetings can be scheduled during office hours.

It is always best to communicate with the coach directly responsible for your child's training group. All questions about your child's swimming, coaching decisions, or team policy should be directed to your child's coach. If for some reason, you are not satisfied with the response, you should then contact the WEST head coach. If an unresolved situation still exists you are asked to contact the board of director's president.
